P2 travelled to Trondheim to face off against the Knickers. After a slow start to the season, P2 needed to regain both composure and confidence, and they did so in style.
Game 1:
In the first inning, P2 batted around, scoring 7 runs on 4 hits – and a hit by pitch. Anders helped the Knickers out, by accounting for 2 of the outs. P2 showed aggressive base running and set the tone for the game. In the bottom half, the Knickers showed that they have been practicing this winter and swung the bats well. After giving up a long single and two doubles, Kaz settled down and retired the next 3 batters, keeping the Knickers to 2 runs.
The second inning started with a blast – Pierre hitting a looooong homerun, his first of the season, to right field. John Olav and HH followed up with doubles, and P2 scored 5 runs, putting the game out of reach for the Knickers, who were then blanked in the bottom half of the inning. Even though the Knickers scored some runs, the game never got close again, Kaz keeping the Trondheim batters under control. He struck out 7 batters, walking only 2. With a decent defense behind him, Kaz picked up his first W of the season.

Bror got his first career HP, and run, Pierre went 3-4 with a HR, John Olav went 3-4, Matt went 4-5 and HH 3-3

Game 2
After getting the season's first W under their belt, P2 seemed a little more relaxed, but still determined to sweep the away series. The lineup looked really good; our #9 guy went 4-5 last game.
However, we started a little slow, scoring only 2 runs in the first inning, and letting Tr.heim tie the game in the bottom half.
In the second inning P2 scored 3, limiting the opposition to 2, and never looked back after that.
P2 kept batting good through the game, with the 5th as the highlight, scoring 8 runs. Anders found a nice pace on the mound, matching Kaz' numbers; 7ks 2bb.
